Vladimir Ivanovich Popov (; 5 June 1930—1 April 1987) was a Soviet animator and animated films director.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Popov Vladimir I. )〕 Since 1952 he was employed at the studio Soyuzmultfilm, where he worked as an animator and then director. Popov initially directed films in collaboration with Vladimir Pekar, but since 1975 started working alone.
